Clarkstown Teachers, PTA Sets Meeting On Drug, Heroin Problem

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Teachers Association and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) are holding, "The Perfect Storm: Battling the Prescription Drug and Heroin Epidemic" Tuesday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Paramount County Club, 60 Zukor Road, New City.

In addition, the Clarkstown Central School District is working on initiatives to help empower our children to make good decision as well as partnering with District Attorney Thomas Zugibe on his joint task force to combat heroin addiction. 

The initiatives are to address concerns of the the growing problem and the increasing number of deaths related to prescription drug and heroin addiction within Rockland County. 

The event is to help educate young people, their families, and all in the communities.
